Napachie Pootoogook – Artist Biography

Napachie Pootoogook (female; 1938-2002); Inuit artist, Cape Dorset, Nunavut, Canada. Her son Nujalia Pootoogook is a Cape Dorset Inuit art sculpture carver. Her mother was Inuit artist Pitseolak Ashoona, and her niece was Inuit artist Shuvinai Ashoona.
